Watch a video on this section
— 1 min 13 sec

The Pipeline tracks every potential client from first contact through retention or loss.

Time Tracking

Watch a video on this section
— 1 min

Accurate time tracking is essential for billing and understanding how much effort each case requires.

Today's HoursTotal logged today
This WeekTotal logged this week
Billable AmountDollar value of billable time this week
Unbilled TotalAccumulated billable time not yet invoiced
Important: Attorneys commonly underreport time by 20-30%. Review your summary weekly to close that gap.

— 1 min 5 sec

The Billing module manages invoices, payments, trust accounts, and payment plans.

Invoice Statuses

StatusMeaning
DraftBeing prepared, not yet sent
SentFinalized and sent to client
PaidFull payment received
PartialSome payment received, balance remains
OverdueDue date passed — follow up immediately
VoidCancelled — record a reason

Trust Accounts (IOLTA)

Create trust accounts, record deposits and withdrawals, and track balances. Every transaction is logged for audit purposes. Trust funds belong to the client, not the firm. State bar rules require strict separation.

9

Matters (Cases)

Watch a video on this section
— 55 sec

Each matter represents a specific legal engagement with a client, tracked from opening through resolution.

Conflict Checks

Before opening any new matter, run a conflict check. The CRM searches all existing contacts and matters for potential conflicts of interest. Always do this to comply with your state bar's ethics rules.
